Vivekanand Institute of education for the sustainable Institute covers preparation of training module and capacity building of field team for every project by organizing training programmes to support various sustainable development projects. Wide focus which can help us to protect not only natural resources we depend upon but also social fabric of our own human resources.

Training for development

Preparation of training modules on subjects related to food, fodder, energy, climate change, waste management, water management, disaster management, health, education, livelihood, biodiversity, etc and designing course modules from collected information Some modules translated into Gujrati. Organize training programme for capacity building of field team.

Field projects

We have supported following activities

  1. Police line area development project
  2. Survey of household solid waste management
  3. Documentation of Capacity building training of soil health doctors
  4. Manavjyot School for upliftment of rag picking children & their living condition. A physical training instructor has been appointed to train the children.

Other activities implemented for the betterment of the underprivileged at the centre are:-

Sustainable Economic Development Through Animal Husbandry- Supported by Mumbai gaurakshak trust

Under this project, during this year, We have started Niran Kendra in 40 villages during drought period (April to June,2009) as an entry point activity. Coordination with different NGO and save large no. of cattle in west kutch. Another NGO also take inspiration from our work and they also followed our system and save cattle during drought condition with economical support of Mumbai Gaurakshak Trust. This all Niran Kendra managed by concern village Animal Husbandry group. These supports also reduce migration and developed live stock rearers’ institution.

This activity gives following impacts

  1. These is timely help save 14260 animals
  2. They become ready to solve this problem permanently
  3. Scattered community organize through this activity
  4. In abdasa and lakhpat blocks form 40 animal husbandry groups which will do work for long time
  5. Contribution of Rs. 3,02,200/- from cattle rearers in form of member and animal fees.
  6. Two another NGO Sarva Seva Sangh Trust and Shamji Krushan Varma Trust also join in this campaign.
  7. International organization Care-India also involved for develop of animal husbandry and agriculture in abdasa and lakhpat blocks for five years.
  8. Organized 37 vaccination camps and covered 11238 animals through coordination with veterinary department.
  9. Stop migration of pastoralist community.
  10. Animal husbandry group link with NDDB for milk selling.
  11. Provide 12 animal heard with support of ATMA.
